El Roraima es el más alto de los tepuyes (montañas tabulares). Ubicado en el límite de Venezuela, Guyana y Brasil, constituye un vértice en el límite entre los tres países y, con 2.810 metros, es la mayor elevación de Guyana. Monte Roraima es un destino común para mochileros. Casi todos los que planean el ascenso se aproximan por el lado venezolano. La mayoría de los escaladores contratan un guía en el cercano pueblo de Paratepui ("al tepui"). El corto camino de tierra hasta el pueblo puede hacerse fácilmente mediante transporte todoterreno o con gran dificultad usando vehículos comunes, incluso si el estado del camino estuviera singularmente bueno. | The Roraima is the one of the tallest of tepuyes (tabular mountains). Located in the limit of Venezuela, Guyana and Brazil, it constitutes a vertex in the limit between the three countries and, with 2,810 meters, it is the greater elevation of Guyana.
